On February 26, Axel and Caucasus University hosted a private event for CUnicorn startups, university alumni, and angel investors.

The event opened with a welcome from Caucasus University President Kakha Shengelia, followed by a presentation on Angel Investing by Axel Managing Director, Iro Tsagareishvili. Four standout startups - Beezy, BioNova, IDM, and Portico - pitched their business ideas and received valuable feedback from investors.

This event is part of the ongoing collaboration between Axel and Caucasus University, formalized in early 2024 through a Memorandum of Understanding to support the regional startup and investment ecosystem.

As part of this partnership, the Caucasus University Alumni Investment Forum will be held twice a year. This closed investment event gives university graduates the chance to present their startups to potential investors and raise funding, whether or not they participate in the CUnicorn program.

Event partners included GITA, GEC Consulting, Kudos Georgia, and Arci, reflecting strong support from the regional innovation ecosystem.
